Lab Shop: Little Baby Little Feet
Lab Shop is a container shop exploring the potential of different forms of art. This project offers artists opportunities to engage their works with the public. Collaborating with acrylic painting artist Tzu-Ching Chang, the pop-up shop prompts an intimate relationship between friends, lovers and family. Besides the role of a creator, Tzu-Ching is also a young mother. She uses plaster models to record the pivotal moment of her child's growth, especially her child's foot, which grows extremely fast during toddling. Tzu-Ching wants to invite visitors to create an art piece with people they love and commemorate the moment in the pop-up shop. The process of plaster model making also expands her work interdisciplinarily.
